All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Bingo

On the second day after MPs returned from their Christmas breaks, Miles Baron, CEO of The Bingo Association, had the opportunity to meet with members of the All Party Parliamentary Grouip (APPG) and put the Boost Bingo campaign aim of reducing bingo duty from 20% to 15% firmly on the political agenda.

Miles addressed the Bingo APPG urging MPs from across the country to support the Boost Bingo campaign. Attendees included Brian Binley, Conservative MP for Northampton South, Luciana Berger, Labour MP for Liverpool, Wavertree, and Philip Davies, Conservative MP for Shipley. The Chairman of The Bingo Association, Mark Jones, also attended the event to show the importance of the bingo tax issue to the Association and its members.

The MPs were very supportive of the campaign and have pledged to help raise awareness of the campaign both within Parliament and in their constituencies.
